How do you pronounce “Cecco”?

If you can name all the Cecco games shown here you win an emoticon. Here is is 🙂

I wasn’t quite sure what to write about next so I’ve been nosing around for inspiration. An interview with Jon Ritman on the Retro-Gamer podcast (recorded in a pub and unedited meaning much of the time we hear the great man munching on a burger) made me ponder an article about Monster Max for the Gameboy, the much-praised at the time and subsequently largely-forgotten 1994 spiritual successor to Batman and Head over Heels by Ritman with graphics by Bernie Drummond. Then, this morning in fact, I found myself reading some threads on World of Spectrum and found a post where I said I would definitely be writing an article about Raffaelle Cecco’s games for the ZX Spectrum. It was posted in Autumn of 2008.

Ahem.

So, I’ll roll up my sleeves and do just that. It might be an article about the games as a whole or, more likely, I might split it into several articles (maybe covering Exolon, the Cybernoids and the Stormlords); I might even do some stuff about his 16-bit titles as well.

One thing I won’t be doing is telling you how to pronounce ‘Cecco’ though. I simply don’t know. Does anyone?
